Before starting my business, I thought brand values (or core values, mission statements, principles, whatever you want to call them) had to be really formal and stale: “We strive to accelerate and empower innovation and transformation in the lives of our clients.”
Ew.
But brand values are really important! They are a foundation, or a touchpoint, to return to when things get rough or you don’t know which path to take. I’ve returned to mine time and time again over the last year and a half as a compass to keep me grounded and moving forward at the same time!
