As your own boss, it can be tempting to feel like it’s never okay to really, truly take time off from your creative small business; Like if you do, the business you’ve invested so much time and energy into building will come crumbling down around you. No pressure.
One of the biggest mindset shifts I’m working on right now is this: Time off serves your business, not detracts from it. If I never take time off to reset and reset, but writing will eventually become uninspired and flat. And nobody wants flat copy.
