Ashley Moore is the founder and lead designer of Moore House Interiors, a high-end design firm in Texas specializing in renovations, remodels, and design. They’re perhaps best known for their modern farmhouse style, but offer a wide range of styles and services to fit your unique needs. Nothing lights them up like crafting well-loved spaces designed for the way you actually live!
Ashley felt like her website didn’t reflect the high-end nature of the work they do. Potential clients were confused by the high price tag, because the wording and aesthetic led them to believe it was less expensive or less valuable. She spent a lot of time on sales calls that didn’t lead anywhere. Ugh. She needed words that conveyed the extraordinary value they provide their clients. Basically, words that say WORTH IT, guys.
I absolutely loved this project. I took inspiration from other design firms/product lines like McGee and Co. and Magnolia. I wanted Moore House Interiors to be approachable yet aspirational. I think we struck that perfect balance by using relatively little copy through out the site, but making sure each and every word packed a punch. There’s no wasted space here, just like in the homes Ashley and her team design!
Ashley loved the words I whipped up! She even hired me on to do a second website project for their forthcoming product line: The Moore House Collection (keep your eyes peeled for this one, friends!). She feels proud of her site and confident in its ability to speak well of and FOR her business.
“We were constantly getting “tire kicker” inquiries from our site or those that really just couldn’t afford our services. They didn’t understand the value that we bring to projects. It was frustrating having to spend time on the phone talking with these potential clients and #1 delivering the bad news that their project wasn’t one that we could take on because it was so small or their budget was too small, but #2 I was wasting valuable time away from my business talking to these people. I loved how easy it was working with Micah. Her process was clear and concise. A really accurate questionnaire was all she needed and she gave words to bring my business to life. I’m so excited. I feel like the copy and rebranding work that we are putting into our business will attract our ideal client, vet out those that aren’t going to be the right fit and have them see the value in what we bring to their project.” -Ashley
